Information we collect

When you send an order request, we collect your name, email address, phone number, selected sets and quantities, and any promo code or comment you choose to provide. We also record your consent choice, the wording and version of the notice, the request time and an order request ID. Please do not include payment card details, health information or other sensitive information in your comment.

Our website and service providers also process technical information, such as IP addresses and browser information, for hosting, site usage measurement, security and spam prevention.

How we use your information

We use order information to respond to your request, confirm and fulfil your order, arrange delivery and provide customer support. Your information is sent to our business email account at greens@greengalin.com. It is not displayed publicly on the website.

Submitting an order does not subscribe you to promotional emails. Marketing consent, when requested, is separate and optional. You can withdraw it at any time by emailing us or using the unsubscribe option in a promotional email.

Service providers and processing locations

We use ChatGPT Sites by OpenAI to host the website, Resend to send order requests, and our business email provider to receive and retain those messages. The site also loads fonts from Google. These providers process information needed to supply their services.

Information may be processed or stored outside Canada and may be subject to the laws of those countries. Resend states that it stores data in the United States. ChatGPT Sites does not offer a choice of data residency. Contact us if you have questions about these service providers or overseas processing.

Retention and security

The website does not maintain a separate customer order database. Submitted requests are retained in our business email account for handling orders, customer service and applicable recordkeeping requirements. Service providers may retain delivery and security records under their own policies. Resend currently lists a 30-day retention period for email and log data on its standard plans; this does not delete the copy in our mailbox.

The website uses HTTPS, and the email service key is stored as a server-side secret. These measures reduce risk, but no online service can guarantee absolute security or permanent availability.

Your choices and privacy questions

You can contact Green Galin to ask about how your information is handled, request access or a correction, or request deletion or withdrawal of consent where applicable. Some records may need to be retained for legal or business recordkeeping. Withdrawing information needed to fulfil an order may prevent us from completing that order.
